The National Order of the Arrow Conference is Scouting’s second-largest national program event, and it is entirely planned and executed by Arrowmen. Youth involvement ensures that the conference program will be exciting, relevant, and non-stop fun.
Participants will return home with:
- A deeper understanding of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Order of the Arrow Obligation, and what it means to “live” these words in one’s daily life.
- A renewed spirit, pride, and enthusiasm for Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
- Ideas their lodge can use to better serve Scouting at the unit, district, and council levels.
- New programs, knowledge, and skills to improve lodge and chapter operations.
- Enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of how to carry out the work of the lodge
- The latest information on outdoor and high-adventure programming, including how to successfully promote Scout camping.
- New friendships with fellow Arrowmen from throughout the nation.
- Memories to last a lifetime!
Dates and Travel
Kanwa tho Lodge will travel to and from CU Boulder likely by train, but official details are TBD. These event details will be updated as soon as possible.
Exact departure and estimated arrival times will be shared with contingent members as the event gets closer.
Contingent Fee
Kanwa tho Lodge contingent members will pay a total event fee of $1,050.00. This fee covers the national event fee and other lodge-required fees. The fee will be split into three payments:
- NOAC Delegate Deposit - $100.00: This deposit will hold your spot for the lodge contingent
- NOAC Event Fee - $575.00: This is the balance of the event cost paid to NOAC for the event itself. Includes five nights of lodging, five days of program and training, 14 meals, program and support materials, registration materials, insurance, and recognition items during the six-day conference.
- If paid BEFORE February 1, the contingent member will receive a $50.00 discount for a total NOAC event fee of $625.00
- If paid AFTER May 30, the contingent member will be charged a $50.00 late fee for a total NOAC event fee of $725.00
- Click "Claim Your Spot" and "2024 NOAC Event Fees" (Payments #1 and #2) below to pay the NOAC event fee and claim your spot in the lodge contingent.
- Lodge Fee - $375.00: This is an added fee for Kanwa tho Lodge for other costs related to the trip. Includes bus travel, and may also include lodge NOAC patches and other items like lodge t-shirts, hats, etc.
- Click "NOAC 2024 Lodge Fees" (Payment #3) below to pay the lodge fees for transportation, swag, etc.

Health Forms
All participants must submit a current health form (Parts A, B, and C) via a secure online portal provided by NOAC. More information will be sent to contingent members at a later date. The forms must have been completed after August 1, 2023. Vicki Dubis, Contingent Adviser, will also be collecting a paper COPY for use during travel. These copies will not be returned.
National Cancellation Policy
A $100 per-person deposit is transferable to a substitute participant (youth or adult) within the same council on a one-for-one basis, but it is nonrefundable, and may not be applied to the balance due for another person. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to Vicki Dubis by June 15, 2024 so that she can submit them to the national office by June 30, 2024. Approved cancellations will receive a full refund of all national fees, minus their deposit amount of $100. Participants canceling their reservation after June 30, 2020, will forfeit their entire conference fee. Also, registrations paid in full before February 1 are considered "discounted" and are also ineligible for a refund.
