Induction Overnight/Spring Fix-It
at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta
April 30 - May 1, 2021
The inductions portion of this event is
open to newly-elected Ordeal candidates, Brotherhood candidates and general members.
The service portion (Saturday) is open to all members of the council including non-OA members.
SAFETY INFORMATION FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PASS MEDICAL SCREENING PRIOR TO ENTERING CAMP
Wait in line in your vehicle for medical approval before parking in the lot and/or exiting your vehicle. Temps will be verified and a questionnaire must be completed.
Just like all our events, all participants must bring a
COPY
of their current, complete medical form (Parts A and B). This form must be kept on file per state law and will not be returned.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING AND WEAR A MASK OR OTHER FACE COVERING
Face coverings shall be worn whenever participants may be within six feet of each other unless wearing the mask poses a safety risk for the immediate task at hand.
ALL MEMBERS (not Ordeal candidates) STAYING OVERNIGHT MUST BRING THEIR OWN TENTS
No sharing of tents is allowed for due to COVID-19 regulations. Cabin camping is not available.
Tents are NOT required for Ordeal candidates
- see the invitation letter mailed to you for a packing list.
ORDEAL CANDIDATE INFORMATION
If you or your Scout have just been elected to the Order of the Arrow, please register as an
"Ordeal Candidate."
Ordeal Candidate Schedule:
Check In
Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the main parking lot
Be sure to have your medical form and be prepared to complete the COVID-19 questionnaire
New Member and Parent Orientation
will begin
Saturday at 6:45 p.m.
at the chapel.
Any parent wishing to attend must be screened, must wear a face covering and must maintain social distancing.
Screening for parents will begin at 6:15 p.m. Please wait in your vehicles at the parking lot if the screening process has not begun yet.

Ordeal Candidate Notes:
Cost:
$30.00, which includes food, event supplies, and new member items (sash, patch, OA Handbook, etc.)
Food will be served to candidates beginning at breakfast Saturday and running through/including dinner Saturday.
BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE
All candidates should bring their own work gloves. We will do our best to have enough tools for every participant; otherwise, we will have sanitizing products available to clean tools between users.

Brotherhood Candidate Schedule:

with the inductions committee outside the dining hall
before 12:00 p.m.
to confirm participation and set up an interview time

is $25.00, which includes event supplies, Brotherhood sash, and meals while you're in camp

: Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the Welcome Pavilion

General Membership Notes:

Overnight Attendees
will be served a cracker barrel Friday evening and all meals Saturday
Cost - Day Participants:
$5.00
Day Attendees
will be served lunch and dinner on Saturday.

If you are interested in serving as an elangomat,
please check with the inductions committee first to see if your assistance is needed.
Only Arrowmen with approval of the inductions committee should register as an elangomat.
