National Order of the Arrow

Conference

At University of Tennessee, Knoxville

July 25-30, 2022

The National Order of the Arrow Conference is Scouting’s second-largest national program event, and it is entirely planned and executed by Arrowmen. Youth involvement ensures that the conference program will be exciting, relevant, and non-stop fun.

Participants will return home with:
  • A deeper understanding of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Order of the Arrow Obligation, and what it means to “live” these words in one’s daily life.
  • A renewed spirit, pride, and enthusiasm for Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
  • Ideas their lodge can use to better serve Scouting at the unit, district, and council levels.
  • New programs, knowledge, and skills to improve lodge and chapter operations.
  • Enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of how to carry out the work of the lodge
  • The latest information on outdoor and high-adventure programming, including how to successfully promote Scout camping.
  • New friendships with fellow Arrowmen from throughout the nation.
  • Memories to last a lifetime!

Payment Schedule

THIS INFORMATION MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. UPDATES WILL OCCUR AS EVENTS ARE PLANNED

All contingent members should pay online by visiting our lodge trading post site. To secure a spot with the contingent, a $150.00, non-refundable down payment is required at registration. Payment can be made in full at any time, or participants can utilize the payment plan built into this registration:
  • $150.00: Down payment due at registration - this is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • $TBD: Payment #2 due by TBD
  • $TBD: Payment #3 (final payment) due by TBD
The dates set for the payment plan are fairly strict because the national OA office bills the lodge in increments around the same time. If you have questions or need to adjust your payment plan, please contact Ken Walton, Lodge Adviser and NOAC Contingent Adviser.

Health Forms

All participants must bring a current COPY of their annual health and medical record (BSA health form) with Parts A, B and C (doctor's physical) completed. The form must have been completed after July 31, 2021.

National Cancellation Policy

The $150 deposit includes a $100 per-person deposit which goes directly to the national conference. The other $50 will cover the contingent member's portion of the contingent patches.

The national deposit is transferable to a substitute participant (youth or adult) within the same council on a one-for-one basis, but it is nonrefundable, and may not be applied to the balance due for another person. All requests for cancellations made in writing to the OA Director by June 30, 2022, will receive a full refund of all national fees, minus their deposit amount of $100. Participants canceling their reservation after June 30, 2022, will forfeit their entire conference fee.
